The battleroom is a huge room with null gravity, had some walls, handles to hold on to, was wierd to move if you were inside, and the guns actually worked there. The importance of the gravity, lasers, ans spacesuits is to prepare them for when thy battle other teams, and it didn't mention it but i also think this will help if the buggers come and attack.
2. How do Ender and Alai become friends? What is surprising about Ender’s friendship with Alai?
They became friends by kind of orbiting from place to place, then they shot each other with the guns and in a way froze each other, that's when they really started getting along and telling each other jokes. What is surprising about Ender's and Ali's friendship is that he Ali Bernard's best friend, and didn't have any problems at all with Ender.
3. Describe the computer game. Why can’t Ender beat the giant at first? How does he eventually win? What lesson does this teach Ender?
It was him playing as a pretty decent sized mouse, he was traveling trough some landslides, slopes at angles and finally to a place were there was a giant and 2 huge shot glasses that he needed to chose which one he would go into. He couldn't beat the giant at first because he ran away, just stood there, but mostly he was playing the guessing game with the shot glasses and trying to guess which one was poisonous and which one wasn't but he never would guess right and would always die, Ender thought the game was rigged. He eventually wins by kicking one of the shot glasses over and then dodged the giants huge hands as the giant shouts "cheater cheater" he clambered up in his lip and nose and digs out in the giants eye. The lesson that Ender learned was that the only way to win the game was to harm the giant and reminded him of his brother Peter.

Ender defeated the computers security system by creating another account with Brenards name on it. This indicates that
Ender is really smart and always thinks of something to do what he wants.

Ender is promoted because he is doing really well with everything he is being thought especially the Battleroom. The thing that was surprising about Ender's promotion is that he was promoted like right after he got to the part of his game about the giant that said "THE END OF THE WORLD".
3. Why is Petra Arkanian exactly the wrong kind of friend to have? What valuable skill does she eventually teach Ender?
Petra Arkanian is exactly the wrong kind of friend to have because she reminded Ender of her sister Valentine. The valuable skill that Petra eventually tought Ender was being arond the Battleroom and tought him how to aim with the gun.

The lesson that Ender learned from Bonzo Madrid about being commander is to always be a good commander, and to give a chance to everyone to show what they have to offer. The instuctions that Bonzo gave to Ender was to not draw his weapon and to stay to the side.

Adults were the real enimies because they are the one's making kids save the world when the buggers come.

Chapter 8: Rat

The Rat army is different from the Salamander army because everything is better oganized, go to trainings, and are more disiplined.

The suprising information that Dink Meeker knew and relayed to Ender was that he told Ender that Bonzo didn't like him because when Bonzo wanted Ender to suffer Ender didn't, Bonzo hated that, and wanted to kill him for it.
3. Why is Ender’s feet-first attack position so effective in battle?
It was so effective because if he feet-first attacked a person they would most likely only freeze his feet which he really didn't need, he would have the rest of his body free.

When he logs back in the game the giant appeared more decayed, all he saw was bones and his face was bearly recognizable. The childeren that became wolves werean't there anymore. He went in the underground tunnels and at the other side was a cliff overlooking the forest, he jumps on to a cloud and brings him down to the castle almost as if it was meant to be. The person he saw after he defeated the sanke was Peter's bloody face in the mirror. He was shocked because he thought he was going to see is figure in the mirorr but saw Peter's face and automaticcaly felt like a killer, everything he did involved him hurting someone.

Peter's plan to change the world is to convince people in the net. Peter manipulated Valentine into helping him by him crying and says he needs her help. Her role is to make him look better.

Peter's "gratest gift" was to find peoples weakness, and once he would find that out he could basiclly take advantage of anyone.

Ender wasn't really sure what dwarves were doing as they went about thier buisness. before he had first gone to THE END OF THE WORLD everything was combat and puzzels to solve-defeat the enemy before he kills you or figure out how to get past the obsticle. The END OF THE WORLD was the only dangerous place left. The same thing would always happen he defeated the snake, but he could never defeat the part when he saw the face of his brothr peter.
